Rhizobia is a forward-thinking movie series and discussion program initiated by Stichting Art.1 and LAB111. In the four-chapter event, various prescient environmental issues and global perspectives on climate change will be explored through the spectre of film and community.

challenge

We were challenged to create an open environment for a film and discussion event that aimed to raise topics with a the focus on original story based conversation starters, hopefully broadening the participants view with insights for a positive change.

solution

By distorting slow and esthetic videos showing nature, food, trash and bright plastics we created a modern and abstract image reflecting the fluidity of the program and show different angles on what is ‘wanted’ beautifully pleasing imagery for a cultural event as such.

For every event evening we’ve created different abstract video concepts. These videos are used for online marketing and dreamy backdrops on the stage during the Q&A and discussions. Stills from these videos are used to creates collages that could be used in the print campaign.
